Our next family night is this Saturday at 6pm.  The last Saturday of every month is set aside for our family night.  It’s a night of family, fun, and food.  Join us for snacks, games, and just a great time with friends.

You don’t have to be a member of Connecting Point Church to attend.  Everyone is welcome at our family night. The night starts at 6pm and goes until 8pm.  There is no cost, so just bring the family and be ready for some fun.

Join us Sunday November 20, 2011 for week number two of the series titled; Not In Kansas Anymore.  This week Pastor Don will be challenging us to take a break.  I know what you’re thinking as you are sitting there reclining in your lazy-boy…”hmm this oughta be good.”  But seriously, it’s something that we have been instructed to do.  We need to learn how to rest, even though the world that we live in might be moving at a mighty quick pace.  So why don’t you come this Sunday for our message titled, “Carry On My Wayward Son.”

Coming October 30, 2011…

A special night for Revolution, the youth ministry here at Connecting Point Church.  Your teenagers will not want to miss out on Reel Life.  On Sunday night 10.30.11 we will be hosting a costume party, live music, games, and a message about real life.  The time is from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.  All students in middle school and high school are invited to join us.  We will also be giving away a prize to the student who invites the most friends to join us on October 30th.

I sure you hope you have your calendars marked for this Saturday!  On Saturday September 24th we will be hosting our family night, which is open to all families in our area.  The night kicks off at 6pm and will be packed with fun things for the whole family to enjoy.  Family night will be from 6pm to 8pm at the church which is located at 216 E Stephenson street in downtown Freeport, IL.

We will be hosting our Second Sunday service on the night of September 11, 2011 for Revolution.  Revolution is our ministry for anyone in 6th through 12th grade.  Not a member of Connecting Point Church?  Not a problem.  If you are in middle school or high school…then you are invited.

The event kicks off at 6:30 pm.  Just like last time we will have some loud music, games, prizes, and of course God’s word in a way that every teenager can relate to.  Clear off your calendar for Sunday night, because this is where you want to be.
